A LIFE IN COLOR

You are not burned out.

You are bound.

There is a version of you underneath the roles, the responsibilities, and the performance of having it all together. She is still there. This is how you find her.

The Unbinding is A guided 1-2 hour ritual to help you identify and release the roles you were never meant to carry.

SOUND FAMILIAR?

You are good at this. All of it. And somewhere underneath all of that, you are exhausted in a way that sleep does not fix.

It's not because you are doing too much, though you probably are. But because so much of what you do is not quite you. It is a version of you. A very competent, very capable, very tired version who has been performing for so long she has forgotten what it feels like to just exist.

And no - this doesn’t mean you need to blow up your life.

You are not broken. You are not ungrateful. You are not weak.

You have simply been carrying things that were never yours to carry - identities that were handed to you, roles you never consciously chose, versions of yourself you built for survival - and running on them like they are who you actually are.

The question is not whether you are performing. The question is whether you know
which parts of the performance are actually you.

YOU MIGHT BE HERE IF

You recognize yourself in this

  • You have built a life that looks exactly right from the outside and feels slightly hollow from the inside.

  • You are the one everyone leans on, and you are very good at it, but you cannot remember the last time someone asked how you actually are and meant it.

  • You don't actually know what you want anymore, only what you should want.

  • You have tried the productivity systems, self-care routines, vacations. The relief never lasts because the problem is not your schedule, it is what you are carrying inside it.

  • You know there is a version of you that is more alive, more real, more fully herself. You just cannot quite get back to her.

  • You do not want to blow anything up. You just want to understand what you are actually holding before you decide what to do with it.

THE COST OF STAYING

Every day you perform instead of live, you pay with yourself.

The woman you are performing is costing you the woman you actually are.

Most high-capacity women reach this moment and do one of two things. They push through - more structure, more optimization, more telling themselves this is just a season. Or they blow something up - quit, leave, move - and discover six months later that they brought themselves with them.

Neither one works because neither one addresses the real problem. The real problem is not your circumstances. It is the gap between who you actually are and who you have been performing. And that gap does not close on its own. It widens. Quietly. Until the performance is so practiced you mistake it for yourself.

And the longer you stay here, the harder it becomes to tell the difference.

A DIFFERENT WAY TO SEE IT

You are not burned out.
You are bound.

Burnout says you need rest. Being bound says you need to know what you are carrying and whether any of it was ever actually yours.

If you misdiagnose this, you will keep trying to fix the wrong problem. Rest does not unbind you. Slowing down does not unbind you. Only honest, deliberate discernment does.

Discernment is not dramatic. It does not require you to blow anything up or walk away from your life. It requires you to look clearly at what you have been holding and consciously decide what is yours to keep.

THE EXPERIENCE

Here is what you actually do

The Unbinding is a guided identity release ritual that walks you step-by-step through seeing what you’ve been carrying… and finally setting it down. No prior experience required. No special equipment. Just you, a quiet hour, and the willingness to look honestly at what you have been carrying.

1. Arrive

Get your body into the present before your mind tries to manage the process. This is the step most people skip, but it is the one that makes everything else work.

2. Take inventory

Write down every role you play, every name you answer to, every version of yourself you perform across every room in your life.

3. Name what is not yours

Look honestly at what you are carrying. Not to judge it, but to see it clearly.

4. Set it down

A deliberate, embodied act of release. Not dramatic. Simply the conscious experience of putting down what you have been carrying.

5. Reclaim what is actually you

Step back into the parts of yourself that were always real - before the adapting, the shape-shifting, the performance.

6. Integrate in writing

Guided reflection questions help you turn the experience into language you can hold and return to.

By the end, you will not be wondering who you are. You will feel the difference in your body.

WHY NOW

The performance does not pause while you decide.

Every day you spend performing a version of yourself costs you something real. In the moments you could have been present, but were managing instead. In the relationships that get the performance rather than the real you. In the creative work, the joy, the aliveness that keeps waiting for you to make space for it.

There is no perfect moment to stop performing. There is only the moment you decide the cost is too hight to keep paying.

This is a 2-3 hour experience that costs $47 and is available to you right now. The only thing standing between you and beginning is the decision to begin.

You don’t need more time. You need a moment of honesty.

About Laura

I built this because I needed it first.

This is not something I studied. It’s something I had to do to get my life back.

I spent years as a Fortune 500 AI executive. I was the one with the answers, the composure, the strategy. I was very good at it, but I was quietly, profoundly lost inside it.

When I finally stepped away, I expected to feel free. Instead I discovered how completely I had fused my identity with my performance. I did not know how to exist without an audience and a role.

The Unbinding is the process I went through to find my way back to myself. It draws on real psychological research, embodied practice, and the ancient human knowledge that you cannot build a real life on top of a performance. You have to step off the stage first.

A Life in Color is what I built in the space that opened up after I did.
